Acrylic thinner is a solution designed to thin down hobby-grade acrylic paints for better application and a smoother finish. This type of thinner is a must-have for hobbyists who use acrylic paints for their models, dioramas, miniatures, and other creative projects.
Acrylic paints are water-based, meaning they dry quickly and are known for their durability and versatility. However, sometimes the consistency of the paint may not be ideal for the hobbyist's needs. If the paint is too thick, it can be difficult to apply with an airbrush. In contrast, if the paint is too thin, it may not cover the surface adequately and may require multiple layers, which can be time-consuming and frustrating. This is where it comes in handy.
